This site at steyp.com/ae is operated by Steyp Education and Training LLC. In these terms, "Steyp", "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person or organisation using the site or engaging Steyp.

Steyp Private Limited, which operates the Indian site at steyp.com/in, is a separate company. These terms do not apply to it, and its terms do not apply here.

This site describes what Steyp delivers in the United Arab Emirates and, through this section, to visitors in every country outside India. It is information, not an offer.

• No fee is published anywhere on this site, for institutions or for individual learners.
• Program hours, session counts, level structures and delivery formats shown here are indicative. What is delivered is what the proposal or the written cohort confirmation says.
• Submitting an enquiry or a registration costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
• Nothing on this site is a quotation, an offer capable of acceptance, or advice.

An institutional engagement runs on a written proposal issued by Steyp and accepted in writing by the institution, together with any purchase order or service agreement the institution requires.

The proposal sets the scope: the program and levels, cohort size and grade levels, the number of sessions and contact hours, the delivery format and calendar, the venue, trainer allocation and facilitator ratio, equipment and the kit-to-student ratio, the delivery language, reporting, certification, and the commercial terms.

Where the proposal and these terms disagree, the proposal wins for that engagement. These terms fill the gaps a proposal does not address.

• A registration submitted through this site is an expression of interest. It does not reserve a place.
• We come back with the dates, venue and fees for a cohort. A place is confirmed only when we confirm it in writing and the fee for that cohort is paid.
• No payment is taken on this site.
• Where the learner is under 18, the parent or legal guardian registers them, contracts with us and is responsible for the fee.
• Open cohorts run the same curriculum an institution commissions. Nothing is thinned out for individual learners.

What you can get back if a place is cancelled is set out in the refund policy.

School programs run for ages 8-17 and college programs for ages 18 and over. We place a learner in the band that matches their age rather than the one that matches the program picked on the form, and we say so before a cohort is confirmed.

You must give us accurate information about the learner, including any medical, behavioural or accessibility need that affects how a session should be run. We may decline or end a placement where a need cannot be safely supported in the format booked.

• Dates are agreed in the proposal, or in the written confirmation for an open cohort.
• Steyp may reschedule a session where a trainer is unavailable through illness, where a venue becomes unavailable, or where a public authority instruction, a school closure or severe weather prevents it. We offer a replacement session at the earliest workable date.
• Where an institution postpones or cancels a scheduled session, the notice it has to give and anything payable for trainer time, travel and equipment already committed are set out in the signed proposal or agreement, not on this site.
• Steyp may cancel an open cohort before it starts. Where we do, the refund policy applies.

• Steyp assigns the trainers. Where a proposal names a trainer or gives a profile, we may substitute a trainer of equivalent qualification and experience where we have to, and we tell the institution when we do.
• Facilitator ratios are one per 10-12 students for junior school, one per 12-15 for senior school and one per 15 for college, unless the proposal agrees otherwise.
• Trainers follow the venue's safeguarding, safety and conduct policies while on site. The institution keeps its own duty of care for its students and provides supervising staff as its policy requires.
• Any restriction on either party soliciting or employing the other's staff or contracted trainers, and how long it lasts, is set out in the signed proposal or agreement.

Unless the proposal says otherwise, the institution or venue provides:

• a suitable room, with power and a layout the delivery format can work in,
• internet access where the program needs it,
• laptops or devices where the proposal makes them the institution's responsibility,
• secure storage for kits between sessions where kits stay on site,
• access for trainers and equipment at the agreed times,
• the class list and any safety or accessibility information before the first session,
• supervising staff, first aid and emergency procedures in line with its own policy,
• parental consent for participation and for photography.

• Robotics kits and other equipment supplied for a program remain the property of Steyp unless the proposal says ownership passes.
• Equipment is supplied for use during the program at the kit-to-student ratio the proposal sets. It must not be modified, dismantled beyond the session activity, taken off site or lent on without our agreement.
• Storage and maintenance responsibilities are set out in the proposal.
• Who carries the risk of loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear while equipment is in the institution's or the venue's care, what is payable for it, and any insurance either party has to hold, are set out in the signed proposal or agreement, not on this site.
• Take-home hardware is bought separately where it is offered, and title to it passes when it has been paid for in full.

Curriculum, session plans, exercises, assessments, skills checklists, rubrics, certificate designs, illustrations, photography, the Steyp name and logo and everything else on this site belong to Steyp or to its licensors.

• An institution receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials we supply, internally, for the duration of the engagement and for the cohorts it covers.
• Those materials may not be copied, adapted, resold, sublicensed, published, used to run the program without Steyp, or used to train a machine learning model.
• Sessions may not be recorded without our written agreement.
• The licence ends when the engagement does, and materials supplied for it are not to be reused for a later cohort we are not delivering.

Work a student produces during a program, including a capstone project, belongs to the student, or to whoever owns it under the institution's own policy. Steyp keeps the right to assess it, to reference it in reporting and certification, and to show it in program materials and marketing where the relevant consent has been given.

Steyp names an institution as a client, or uses photography from its programs, only where the proposal or a separate written consent allows it.

Certificates are issued to participants who meet the completion criteria set for the level, which is normally attendance together with the required exercises and, at Level 3, the capstone.

A certificate records the participant name, the program and level, the completion date and a unique certificate identifier. Selected credentials carry a QR verification.

KHDA attestation is available only for eligible Dubai programs and certificates, in accordance with applicable requirements. KHDA is a Dubai authority. For engagements outside Dubai, delivery is structured according to the applicable local and contracting-institution requirements. External technology certification is included only where a formal partner pathway applies to the specific program.

We may correct or withdraw a certificate issued in error or obtained by misrepresentation.

• Fees are set in the proposal for an institutional engagement, and in the written cohort confirmation for a direct registration.
• Fees vary with cohort size, program format, equipment requirement, venue and partnership model, which is why no price is published on this site.
• Invoicing, when payment falls due, any deposit, and what follows if an invoice is not paid on time are set out in the signed proposal or agreement.
• Steyp may suspend delivery where an invoice is overdue and remains unpaid after notice.

• Do not scrape, data mine or bulk extract anything from this site.
• Do not republish, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit its content.
• Do not interfere with the site, or attempt to reach any part of it you have not been given access to.
• Do not use the forms to send spam, false information, or another person's details without their authority.
• Do not use the site in a way that breaks the law of the UAE or of the country you are in.

We may restrict access to any part of the site at any time.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Subject to that:

• The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it is free of error or continuously available.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated saving or data.
• The limit of our liability under an engagement is set out in the signed proposal or agreement. No limit is stated on this site, and nothing here raises or lowers the one that document sets.
• We are not liable for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, including a public authority instruction, a venue closure, severe weather, a utility or network failure, or the institution's own act or omission.

Proposals, pricing and commercial terms are confidential to the parties. Neither side discloses the other's confidential information, except to people who need it in order to deliver the program or where the law requires the disclosure.

Confidential information is used for the engagement and for nothing else, and the obligation carries on after the engagement ends. It does not cover information that is already public through no fault of the party receiving it, or that a party already held or worked out independently.

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. Where Steyp handles student data on an institution's instruction, the terms of that handling form part of the proposal.

• Either party may end an engagement for a material breach the other has not put right after written notice.
• Steyp may remove a participant, or end a session, where conduct puts people or equipment at risk.
• Steyp may suspend delivery for non-payment.
• The notice a party has to give to end an engagement, whether it can be ended for convenience at all, and how long a party has to put a breach right, are set out in the signed proposal or agreement, not on this site.
• Ending an engagement does not affect what has already been delivered, or the amounts owed for it.

Assignment

Steyp may assign or subcontract its rights and obligations, including to a contracted trainer. You may not assign yours without our written agreement.

Severability

If a provision is found to be invalid, it is removed and the rest stands.

Entire agreement

For an institutional engagement, the proposal together with these terms is the whole agreement and replaces earlier discussions. Where the two differ, the signed proposal or agreement governs.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version in force for an engagement is the one published when the proposal was accepted or the cohort was confirmed.

No waiver

Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not give it up on another.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them or out of an engagement with Steyp, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.

The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the signed proposal or agreement for a particular engagement agrees a different forum.
